Abner Bagenstose, MD

Dr. Bagenstose grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and obtained his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Bagenstose went on to complete fellowships in Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology at the University of Michigan, and Ohio State University, and is board certified in Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology as well as Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bagenstose practiced allergy in Columbus, Ohio for 39 years before spending two years in South Carolina and Georgia. He is excited about returning to practice allergy treatment again in Columbus! He treats allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis, chronic sinusitis, bronchial asthma, food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, anaphylaxis, insect venom allergy, atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, chronic urticaria and angioedema, drug allergy and immune deficiencies.

In his leisure time, Dr. Bagenstose enjoys golfing, participating in 5K runs, walking two Labrador Retrievers, biking, reading history and enjoying 5 grandchildren.
