It is ideally suited for use on patients who wish to revitalize and refresh the appearance of their skin on all skin types, all skin colors, and in all locations of the body. By adjusting the micro-needles, Secret RF can deliver energy at various depths, so that treatments can be tailored to address each patient’s individual concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, skin discoloration, sagging or crepiness of the skin, aging skin, and quite possibly the red superficial blood vessels of rosacea.
How it Works
Secret RF works by gently inserting minimally invasive micro-needles into the skin to variable, customizable depths. Precisely controlled RF energy is then delivered through these micro-needles in order to induce remodeling and rejuvenation of the dermis with contraction or tightening of the skin. This is accomplished in a fraction of a second for each area treated corresponding to the size of the hand piece. This allows patients to be treated quickly and effectively within minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated.
What Makes secretRF Unique?
More than two-thirds of patients are concerned with fine lines or wrinkles, early signs of aging, skin discoloration, skin texture or laxity, or scarring. While most patients would desire treatment to help improve these conditions, many are concerned about the potential downtime and recovery that has traditionally accompanied procedures to address these concerns. Secret RF offers the least amount of downtime with the lowest level of discomfort of any energy based rejuvenative procedure we have ever offered. The majority of patients may experience a low level of redness for one to a few hours, and potentially a little pink the next day. Most would be able to return to work or social activities the following day, even without the need for cover-up or makeup.
While all energy based treatments have some degree of discomfort, usually in the form of heat, Secret RF is the best tolerated of the procedures we offer. Typically, Secret RF is performed with only the aid of topical numbing cream to enhance patient comfort during this short procedure. There should be no pain or discomfort following the procedure.
